The Pit before the Promise

Joseph was seventeen when he was human trafficked and was in his late thirties when he reached the fulfilment of a childhood promise from God. 
In this remarkable restoration we see  Joseph walk though some extremely lonely, dark times that help form his character that would sustain him in his high profile role as prime minister of Egypt.
There some lessons we can learn through Joseph's story that can assist us through some of our darkest seasons. 
We must learn to rejoice through every trial, as God takes us through these seasons to shape our character in preparation for our destiny.
