Elin Helene Simmons tells of her parents, who immigrated from Sweden and Norway to the US. She discusses her family and the differences between her parents' home countries and the US. As part of Oregon's sesquicentennial, Cedar Mill Community Library recorded interviews with local immigrants to learn about their experiences coming to and living in America. This is one of our interview from 2009.
