The Columbus Blue Jackets made us work for our content this week! In this episode, we discuss the WNCI Summer Classic, a charity softball game featuring some of Columbus’ finest stars, including, but not limited to, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun of Twenty One Pilots, Walk the Moon, Ryan Cabrera, and most importantly, Columbus Blue Jackets Jack Roslovic and Oliver Bjorkstrand, and CBJ Alum, Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre. We talk about the game, and Jack Roslovic’s walk off homerun that won the game – his third of the night!

Last week, Zach Werenski interrupted the show by signing an extension to remain a Columbus Blue Jacket for the next seven years – this week, we break down the signing and challenge the notion that the Blue Jackets overpaid.

Former Blue Jackets bench boss, John Tortorella, joined the ESPN crew of analysts for its hockey coverage this coming season, and let’s just say that we’re in love with this. We talk about the joy of potentially hearing Torts bash the CBJ on live television, but more importantly, what such a hire and the broadcast deal with ESPN means for the city of Columbus and the team.

Finally, we discuss Pierre-Luc Dubois’ number change to honor his former teammate and late Blue Jackets Goaltender Matiss Kivlenieks.
