In response to the current predicament we're all in worldwide, April is hereby officially dubbed "Stay the F*ck Inside" month at Catching Up On Cinema.
Being as we're all doing our best to stay indoors these days, this month's programming will revolve around the theme of isolation, both thematically and in terms of filmmaking and premise.
Our first pick this month is Kim Sung-su's South Korean blockbuster, Flu (2013)!
Taking place in the city of Bundang during a martial law enforced lockdown brought on by a deadly flu outbreak, the film impresses with it's imagery and brutality, but is often confusing in tone.
