I'm a 15 year, OEF Army veteran with a passion for fitness, health & wellness, and mobility/functional training. I first got certified with ISSA in 2012 to build better training regimens for myself and my soldiers. I believe that training the body helps to maintain a strong mind which we all need to navigate the ups and lows in life. I believe in a holistic approach to fitness where taking all factors of life into consideration is necessary for the success of any individual. In the Army, I worked mostly in intelligence and special operations, but also as an MP for a long period to include my last deployment to Guantanamo Bay. Transitioning back into the civilian world after that experience was no easy task, especially with several injuries, but there is always a way to stay active. The body and mind are so resilient and I'm proud to be a part of the CAL team where I can help other vets find the approach that works for them to achieve their goals and start feeling better as well as share in the mutual support of our community.
