Some say they’re like book versions of the Hallmark mystery movies. Being a Hallmark fan, I take the description as a compliment. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I thought about different ways I could show gratitude to my readers. Write a new book in my series? Two books? Write a giveaway novella or a post a weekly serial story? (I did write the 4th book in my series.) But I needed the idea to be different, innovative. I wanted it to be free. Fun. And a way to pass the hours curled up in a comfy spot, sipping a warm beverage during such an unparalleled and difficult time. This podcast is the result of my efforts. It is my gift to you, dear readers. Now, settle in, and let me tell you a few stories. I’m Cat Clayton and deep in the heart of Texas my curiosity quills the crime. My humorous mysteries feature an amateur sleuth surrounded by a quirky cast of characters. They have a Nancy Drew meets the small-town south kind of vibe.
