Effective Monday, July 19, 2021, at 8:00 AM, Yavapai County Board of Supervisors Chairman Craig Brown has taken the unincorporated areas of Yavapai County back to stage 1 fire restrictions. Chairman Brown said, “We err on the side of caution, we follow the lead of our local forest and fire experts, and together we make the best decisions we can. After several discussions with our Emergency Manager, I have ordered the stage 2 and fire ban lifted from Yavapai County. We will remain in stage 1 fire restrictions for now but will continue to closely monitor the situation.” Stage 1...
