Windy weather is forecasted for today and Sunday throughout central Arizona including Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Chino Valley, according to our friends at U.S. National Weather Service, Flagstaff, Arizona. Strong winds will develop today and into Sunday. Some areas along and just northeast of the higher terrain could see gusts strong enough to cause wind damage (downed trees/limbs, power outages). Difficult driving conditions are likely due to these winds, especially along I-40 from the east side of Flagstaff to Winslow.
