On June 30, 2013, at 4:42 p.m., 19 members of the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew gave their lives battling the Yarnell Hill Fire. Eight years later, the City of Prescott and other agencies continue to remember the brave 19 with public tributes. Tuesday, June 29 -- Family, friends, and affiliates of the fallen along with elected officials are being invited to participate in the unveiling of the newly installed “Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial Highway” signs placed by ADOT and the City of Prescott.
