The Prescott Valley Police Department (PVPD) has added two more school resource officers (SRO), bringing the total of four SROs to serve in Humboldt Unified School District (HUSD). The four SROs include Officers April Zicopoulous, Amanda Caswell, Matthew Shaul, and Randy Busby. The SROs are led by Lieutenant Nancy Roberts and Sergeant Tony Lawrence. Officer Zicopoulos has been an SRO since 2022 and worked alongside Officer Mike Myrmel, who retired earlier this year. Officers Caswell, Shaul, and Busby are new to the SRO program.
