Prescott National Forest Fire Managers on the Bradshaw Ranger District have begun implementing the White Spar RX today, November 8 continuing through Friday, November 12, 2021. Firefighters plan to treat 415 acres near White Spar Campground and the community of Haisley Homestead; north of Schoolhouse Gulch Road (T13N, R2W, SEC 16) if conditions are favorable; including air quality, wind direction, and weather forecasts. Smoke impacts can be expected on portions of Highway 89 in the early morning and late evening; in the communities surrounding the burn and into Prescott.
