Fire Managers on the Bradshaw Ranger District will continue pile burning in the Prescott Basin near Walker, Ponderosa Park/White Spar, Copper Basin, Lynx Lake, Thumb Butte, and Granite Basin. Ignitions are planned to start on Monday, March 7, 2022, and continue through Friday, April 1, 2022, as favorable weather conditions allow. Fire managers expect smoke impacts to be light in the surrounding areas. In the interest of safety, forest visitors are reminded to obey all traffic signs and use caution when traveling in the vicinity of any burning activities, as firefighters and fire-related traffic will be in the area.
