Arizona Fast Tracks Funding to City of Tucson to Restart its Treatment Plant and Begins Construction for the New Central Tucson PFAS Project Demonstration Remedy

With support from Governor Ducey, and a combined .3 million in state funding, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has transferred million in state funding to the City of Tucson to restart its treatment plant and initiated construction for the new Central Tucson PFAS Project demonstration remedy to protect Tucson’s central wellfield.
