This week, I welcome JB Currell of Mercury Molds on the show to discuss his background and how his company is serving the cast polymer industry.
JB has been in the composites industry for over 30 years. He is presently Managing Director of JNJ Composites & Coatings LLC, a holding company with a focus on manufacturing, distribution, acquisitions, and business consulting.
In 1996 JB established Phoenix Resins Inc. manufacturers of MAS Epoxies. After building MAS Epoxies to an international supplier to the composites industry he founded Bio Brands makers of Bio-Solv (Biobased solvents). He then subsequently bought Gibco Flex-mold, a company supplying non-skid patterns to the marine, transportation, and defense industries.
As they perfected the craft of fiberglass reinforced products, they realized their capabilities were in high demand across a variety of cast polymer and other composite manufacturing applications.
