I got to take a quick moment and say thank you to the good people over at Zoom.

Pre-pandemic, the idea of Zoom was foreign to me. I mean, I was aware of the platform. I just never had the need to do it. Then boom, pandemic!

We had to come up with new ways to conduct interviews with everything shut-down, including our recording studio. So we started using platforms like Zoom and Streamyard to record and share our interviews.

As time passed, we did eventually get back to the studio. But from time to time, we still use zoom to do our interviews.

It's something about the comfort that zoom presents. People are able to set up unique backgrounds in their homes and really show personalities. It's a really cool way to record.  It also allows for interviews like these.

Recently, I had the opportunity to speak with Canadian Securities Exchange Director of Issuer Engagement Barrington Miller. Miller is a jack-of-all-trades over at the C.S.E.  I met Barrington on Linkedin of all places. I was interested in how the C.S.E. works with cannabis brands. After speaking with Barrington, I found out that they do way more than give cannabis companies a legal way to raise capital.

Barrington and I spoke about the CSE, Black-owned cannabis brands going public, the metaverse, and how cannabis can benefit from it, and why more people need to use LinkedIn.
