In this episode James, Richard and Peter Anderson discuss Elon Musk's significant-but-also-not-really new pay deal (0:55) and when self-driving cars go wrong (4:30) but how that's not stopping NSW (7:50).
Richard then argues (wrongly) that the Australian F1 Grand Prix is the worst grand prix (8:45) before we check in with the current whereabouts of Winton Motor Company's Frosty Chops (13:45).
Having driven all of BMW's X-Series SUVs recently, Richard says that, yes, they need another one, which is convenient because the new X7 has been spied testing (15:15). And speaking of SUVs, Lotus says it's going to build one as well (17:35).
Audi and Airbus are joining forces to build a flying car (21:30), James finds out if Richard and Peter know what is and isn't legal to do while driving (24:10) before discussing what's been in the CarsGuide garage this week (26:40). Spoiler: you're going to hate Peter after this.
James Cleary, Richard Berry and Peter Anderson tear down, pressure test and rebuild the issues of the automotive week.
