The entrance into a new year opens up a lot of new things for the Carolina Outdoors. However, at the same time, it means that there are several things that are recognized as a tradition.
One of them is the KASK Winter Short Track Series presented by Audi Charlotte & 76. This series has been going on for over twenty years
Neal Boyd, founder & promoter, joins host Bill Bartee from Jesse Brown’s to talk about the race series.
THINGS WE LEARN:
The track is made so that the race occurs rain or shine
The first race had over 400 people that raced
Food Trucks and music are included
The Race Series occurs at Riverwalk Park in Rock Hill, SC, but pulls from Charlotte & across the Carolinas.
The Team competition has grown
Free Beer for those Over 21.
You should take your bike, helmet, & friends down to the Sunday races.
