(From The 07/04/2020 Show) Crowds of people descend upon Carolina beaches every summer to take part in all types of activities other than simply just ‘being on the beach.’ One such activity is the popular sport of surf fishing. Today, the Outdoor Guys chat with Dave Bergman, the “BergMangler,” about surf fishing while growing up in New Jersey and how that experience translates down south. Depending on where in the Carolinas one might be surf fishing, there are quite a number of similarities and a ton of differences in technique and environmental factors. Some of these include gear needs, tide schedules, and the types of bait; ALL of which are part of today’s conversation.
