Cynthia Thompson began caring for her husband six years ago. With the help of other family caregivers, she is currently in the process of compiling submitted journey's from dementia caregivers, in their own words, into a book. This book is intended to support other caregivers as well as to help family members, friends, co-workers and employers understand the journey of a dementia caregiver.
As opposed to a book written by one person's experiences, we are confident anyone who reads this book will find valuable information and will be able to relate to numerous submissions and will help others understand the journey of the caregivers.
