In this episode, Jane talks to Nicky Collins about her Autism diagnosis, which came when Nicky was in her mid-30s and at the same time as her son was diagnosed. Nicky’s life has presented some of the toughest challenges a person can encounter, including addiction and homelessness, but she has gone on to rebuild her life and carve out a career as a successful coach, giving other women and girls with Autism the tools to live more comfortably in a world that is often difficult to navigate.
Please note, Nicky is a coach and is not clinically trained, although she works with a team of specialists including a clinical psychologist. You can find more information about Nicky’s coaching here.
