It’s becoming more and more common for companies to conduct video interviews with candidates. Often, these interviews are done over Skype or by using a real video interviewing service from companies such as Hirevue.

A video interview can be done live or by having the candidate answer a series of pre-determined questions using a webcam or your smartphone to record their answers. This is called an asynchronous interview….

Asynchronous is better for job seekers since it gives you a chance to practice your answers ahead of time so you can nail it.
