#DeviceRelatedThrombosis after #LeftAtrialAppendageOcclusion is a problem which negates the very advantages of left atrial appendage occlusion. It increases the ischemic risk. The #LAAODRTregistry was a case control study of device related thrombosis in patients who received any of the left atrial appendage occlusion device like Watchman or ACP/Amulet, published in JACC. Both #Watchman and #ACP or #Amulet device are associated with this complication of device related Thrombosis.
