Episode 14 - Boo! A Cardback Halloween

Frank Soldato and Jeff Edwards are back and spookier than ever as Halloween comes to the Cardback Cafe Podcast in an extra special, super-sized edition of the show.

Things get started in a pretty normal fashion (all the good scary movies do) as the boys go over the recent reasons why they find themselves without a lot of pocket change in this week's THREE Ps including a final(?) update on #PLUSHIEGATE and a last minute rush of pre-orders.

The news gets minty as #NECA snuck out some new TMNT teases, Boss Fight Studios finally revealed their Lucha Libre line and two big comic cons over in Europe saw a boat load of reveals from the team over at Hasbro.

But then things take a dark turn as we go over a brief history of horror figures, taking a look back at McFarlane's Movie Manics, NECA's Cult Classics and SOTA's Now Playing lines which really helped shape the state of the collector focused toy market of today.

We'll also go over some of our favourite horror figures/toys from the past and the present and learn a thing or two about the Haunted Doll craze...which is a thing!
