The control of the Minnesota House of Representatives has changed seven times since 1971, when legislators affirmed their major party affiliation.  Since then, a Democratic Farmer Labor (DFL) member served as majority leader twenty-one times, while a Republican member led the majority caucus ten times.  On this week's Capitol Report program, moderator Shannon Loehrke talks with House Majority Leader Ryan Winkler, DFL-Golden Valley, and House Minority Leader Kurt Daudt, R- Crown, about their respective caucus priorities as they vie for control of the Minnesota House.

Also on the program, Senator Jeff Hayden, DFL-Minneapolis, and Senator Erik Simonson, DFL-Duluth, say farewell to their Senate colleagues, and Senator Scott Newman, R-Hutchinson, answers the media's questions regarding the Senate's final report on the civil unrest in Minneapolis.
