Colleges and universities across Minnesota are working to manage student learning and campus life during COVID-19.  In addition, the pandemic is exacerbating challenges that have been plaguing higher education. Senator Paul Anderson, R-Plymouth, chair of the Senate Higher Education Committee, joins Capitol Report moderator Shannon Loehrke to talk about campus preparedness plans and the future impact of the pandemic on the higher education institutions.

Also this week, Department of Revenue Commissioner Cynthia Bauerly joins Shannon to talk about the potential tax implications of unemployment income and federal stimulus relief checks as well as to remind military service members of an expiring tax credit for military service in a combat zone.
