We will report on the Senate today approving a bill that would legalize the use of medical marijuana in the state. We will also report on House committee approval of legislation that would ban certain transgender treatments for minors. We will be joined by Rep. Matt Simpson of Daphne, who will discuss his legislation that would reimburse some first-responders for certain PTSD treatment costs. We will also be joined by Rep. Tommy Hanes of Bryant and Clint Reid with the College Republican Federation of Alabama, who will discuss legislation that would not allow Confucius Institutes on Alabama college and university campuses.
