Previous Episode: EP 15: Dr. Mondo

David Harmon is the Senior Vice President for Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America, but his path to that position was unconventional. After graduating from Sacramento State University with a degree in Journalism (5:10), David worked in the radio industry in Sacramento. While working in radio was fun, it didn't offer the hours or pay he desired. So after a call from a friend, David decided to transition to Corporate America (12:40).

In addition to his career at Bank of America, David is also the cofounder of The Council For Giving- a charitable organization consisting of 100 men that meet quarterly and choose one of three non-profits that compete "Shark Tank" style for the sum (21:00).

With the devastating Camp Fire in Butte County engulfing the region this past week, The Council has decided to buck the trend of having 3 competing non profits and instead donate to the victims of this tragedy for their December 11th event. If you want to participate in helping the victims of the Camp Fire with The Council, you can buy a ticket to the event, which is a $100 VISA gift card here
