Acts | Growing Pains

As we’ve been discovering, the very first church thought of themselves as a family. In today’s teaching, Mike talks about the challenges the early church faced as they were continuing to grow beyond Jerusalem and how they resolved those challenges together.

This Sunday we continue on in our Acts series and hear from Josh on Acts 5.  The story of the apostles' arrest in Acts 5 raises some important questions for anyone who desires to follow Jesus. How do we discern the move of God and stay nimble to move with him? How do we live this life with boldness in the face of opposition? How do we realign our priorities so suffering can be turned to joy? And Acts 5 also gives us the answer to those questions: keep our eyes on Jesus, our Savior and Champion.
