Episode 11: The LA Originals

This week your peoples - 2ndrose, Emilio, and Xavier - get into wishing you all a very Happy New Years! We jump into what we been doing this week(1:45), and merge into talking about the LA Originals Estevan Oriol and Mister Cartoon(12:02), the two artists came together and gave East LA culture a name and we talk about Estevan Oriols career, meeting Mister Cartoon(15:50), making groundbreaking moves highlighting their artistic will to enlighten culture that is degraded in society(18:20), we get into Estevans iconic photo ‘LA fingers’(20:50) all in all the making of the LA scene(21:45) the beauty of lowrider culture(28:10) and rounding it up with the creation of SA studios(30:40). Later we get into Xavier telling us what we are smoking on and gives us an example of what you shouldn’t do in LA(33:51), we give you your weekly tricks of the trade by art wonder Emilio(37:26).
