We welcome comic creators Andrea and Roberto Molinari to the show to first help us remember Robin Williams in this week’s Retro Roundtable. It was 25 years ago that Mrs. Doubtfire was released in theaters so we discuss our favorite Robin Williams movies. An actor as talented and diverse as Robin could make movies that made us laugh (Mrs. Doubtfire) , cry (Good Will Hunting), think (What Dreams May Come), and be afraid (One Hour Photo). Then we turn our attention to Andrea and Roberto to discuss Volume 2 of their comic series The Shepherd: The Path of Souls. The Millers happen upon a very unusual district in the Seam, a “hospital” for souls who have died in combat. Here warriors of all cultures and eras gather. These lost souls are locked in ever-repeating cycles of violence and trauma. They are still fighting the battles that claimed their lives, struggling against the specters of unresolved fears, broken hopes, and shattered dreams.
