In today’s episode, we meet Katie Peterson, author of Go Get Mommy's Meds. She shares her story of success with pain management using the cannabis plant after breaking her back as a result of an accident involving a drunk driver.

Katie Peterson is the founder of Mile High Help a Colorado based cannabis industry staffing company. She is a fierce advocate for this plant and true believer in its many healing properties. Katie is currently assisting with the growing and processing of her own medicine and writing a book about her experience coming to cannabis. Her book titled “Go Get Mommy’s Meds.” It is the story of how she overcame extreme adversity and addiction to become a successful business owner and entrepreneur. She hopes that by sharing her story and creating a dialogue with pain patients she can help people that are struggling with chronic pain and addicted to opiates to find another way to get the relief they seek and deserve.
