Welcome back to the Candlelit Tales Podcast.

For the month of March, we are sharing stories of our island’s patron Saint. And one of the best stories of Patrick is the story of his strange friendship with an odd old man, who claimed to be a hero of legend.

After the fall of the Fianna, Oisín, son of Fionn Mac Cumhaill, lived in the land of eternal youth, heedless of the centuries slipping by. When he came back to Ireland to visit his father, he found a place changed beyond recognition, and when time caught up with him, he was brought to the wisest man in Ireland at that time: Patrick, the prophet of a new faith.
