Welcome back to the Invasions Series.

Today we're talking about the first battle on the plains of Moy Tura. This one has no clear right and wrong, no good and no bad… but you can probably tell where Sorcha’s allegiance lies in this chat. The Tuath de Dannan had the power of Magic after all, and they were not afraid to use it. They landed with 300 boats, and burned a lot of them, and sent a fairly obvious sign to anyone who lived on this island that they were not leaving anytime soon.

We talk about the differences between the two tribes, the fear that made the Fír Bolg incapable of seeing anything other than a threat, and the self righteousness that seemed to emanate from the Tuath de Dannan, forcing their hand to take rather than negotiate.

We’d love to hear from you lot in case you had a different thought on the matter. Comment, below, like and subscribe to this channel to help us grow.
