Starting a new project is one of the most exhilaratingly difficult tasks we can take on. No one is making us do it aside from ourselves, which means there isn’t the same level of accountability. It’s also uncomfortable. Remaining in our comfort zone is far easier than taking a project from ideation to execution to launch.

But we didn’t choose the easy way, did we? We chose the way that will bring us a greater sense of fulfillment because we’re using our innate creativity to serve others. Growth requires discomfort. Finding your somewhere means leaning into that discomfort while actively working to resist the spiral of constant planning before launching into what will very likely be subpar work before we begin to refine it.

What will your somewhere be?
