We're doing things a little differently on today's episode. Let's chat mental health. It's something that we all have and yet the stigma surrounding mental health issues is contributing to Australia's alarming statistics around help-seeking and suicide.

Today, Chloe interviews Holly about her experiences with mental ill-health and anxiety, and about her work alongside two mental health organisations providing preventative mental health education and stigma reduction programs. So, we do preface this ep with a bit of a trigger warning, but ultimately this is a story of hope that we hope will help a few of you out there (say THAT five times fast!)

We're not mental health professionals. We are humans. Having a pretty important chat.
We hope that through sharing some anecdotal stories and information about this thing that we all have, a few of you out there might have a lightbulb moment or two, or perhaps start a conversation of your own.

The two amazing organisations Holly works with are LIVIN and batyr. They provide excellent resources on their websites, along with their incredible mental health programs in schools, communities and workplaces around Australia.
"Amazing", "excellent" AND "incredible"? I mean, wow.

Holly chats about her inspirational (and STRONG) friend and fellow facilitator, Alexa Towersey. Find her hereĀ @actionalexa - "When I am physically strong, I think strong thoughts". And boy, she must have some of the strongest thoughts in the Southern Hemisphere.

This is an episode that is especially close to our hearts, so if it resonated with you, please reach out and let us know. Just like you should reach out to the below resources if you have mental health concerns.
