Words of Encouragement - Audio

One of the great aspects of Calvary Chapel Lubbock is that we teach the Bible chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse, so that you can learn and understand the Bible as it was written and intended. We never try to give you a "temporary" or "false" sense of hope or encouragement. As you read and study the Word of God, you will notice that it is full of true stories of what the prophets and Jesus went through. Not everything in the Bible has a "fairy tale" ending, as a matter of fact, none of the Bible includes a "fairy tale" ending. By stating the facts of what Jesus, the disciples, apostles, and prophets went through, the Bible provides true encouragement to the reader and believer. This is because we know that whatever we go through, Jesus has already dealt with it, and eventually we will be blessed by God. Continuing our study of the Book of Philippians, Pastor Ben provides great words of encouragement so that we can know that because our our loving relationship with God, the enemy can not touch us or penetrate our hearts.
