Nicole Atkins - Adam Schlesinger: A Music Celebration

⚡In this interview series, legendary VJ and radio host personality Matt Pinfield features musical guests from around the world. Joining us for the eighth episode is the great Nicole Atkins! The Nashville-based singer/songwriter, who recently released a new album entitled “Italian Ice,” is known for her classically ethereal voice and penchant for soulful and psychedelic sounds. 

Nicole joined Matt leading up to a musical celebration in honor of Adam Schlesinger, a beloved multi-instrumentalist, composer and founding member of seminal ‘90s rock band Fountains of Wayne. The pair talked about Nicole’s new record, her first meeting with Adam, where they co-wrote a song, and why she wanted to be a part of this amazing musical tribute.
