This week we discuss Michael Mann's masterful crime drama, Heat. Featuring an all-star cast of Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Tom Sizemore, Jon Voight, Val Kilmer, Ashley Judd, and Natalie Portman, this film follows the conflict between a master thief (played by De Niro) and an LAPD detective (played by Pacino). Both the best-of-the-best in their respective professions, the two come to have mutual respect for one another, although this does not stop them from doing whatever is necessary to come out on top. But... Is Heat Good?
