Founder, Chairman, and CEO of DeskSite, Richard has been a lifelong entrepreneur, dropping out of high school to launch his first technology company. In his most notable business triumph, he envisioned, architected, and monetized the world’s first narrowband securities trading system, enabling direct execution on NASDAQ with just a PC and a 56k modem. Overnight, this revolutionized the way electronic stock exchanges operated, and brought “day trading” to the masses. His successes have led to numerous appearances on national television, from CNBC to the X-Show. Richard is a former US Marine (Infantry) and a nationally-ranked athlete.

In 2012, Ian, Zach and Dave moved into an apartment together in Los Feliz. In 2013, Zach began writing his own music and it became clear that he and the band were moving in different directions. Stonefeather booked a show with Kula and Zach decided not to play the gig. Dave asked Kula's bassist, Eric Fortier to play with the band for the gig. In a few days and one rehearsal, Eric had learned a show's worth of material and they played a successful gig together. After that night, the current incarnation of the band came into being - Ian McCulloch on guitar and vocals, Dave Rundell on drums and Eric Fortier on bass.

Stonefeather recorded and released 3 singles in 2013-2014 and recorded a new EP, which will be released in August of 2014. Stonefeather is currently planning a tour to support the new EP, tentatively titled "Motion of the Ocean."
