I see way too many businesses who only post on social media when they have something to sell.

"HEY! Buy my stuff. I'm the best!" is not a sales tactic.

So the next time you go to try and sell something on Facebook because everyone tells you how much money they make off of Facebook, ask yourself this question:

"Why do YOU go on to social media?"

The answer is definitely not to buy anything.

It's simply for education and entertainment.

So the next time you go to post as your business on social media, put yourself in the customer's shoes and treat them the way you want to be treated.

Provide value. Establish yourself as the expert. Be their advocate. Build your know, like and trust factor.

At the end of the day, people do business with people they know, like and trust.
