Plenty more action from the Bundesliga this midweek! Bayern beat Dortmund to put themselves well on the way to an eight consecutive title, whilst Fortuna Dusseldorf pick up a huge three points against Schalke. Leverkusen crumble versus Wolfsburg, whilst Frankfurt and Freiburg throw up one of the games of the season.

Is the Bundesliga title race over? It may very well be following Bayern Munich’s 1-0 win over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday. Die Schwarzgelben needed a win to keep Bayern in their sights, but the defeat now puts them seven points behind with six to play. It is hard to see the champions throwing away that kind of lead.

Bayer Leverkusen have received a lot of love in the studio, but their slim title hopes were shredded against Wolfsburg. Die Werkself were torn apart by Die Wolfe, eventually losing 4-1. RB Leipzig, too, failed to gain any ground, drawing 2-2 with Hertha Berlin.

At the bottom, Fortuna Dusseldorf picked up three huge points against Schalke, winning 2-1. That will have been a blow to Werder Bremen, who managed to get a draw against Borussia Monchengladbach. With Mainz, Union Berlin and Frankfurt all failing to win, it was a huge matchday for Uwe Rosler’s men.

The boys in the studio discuss all of the action. As always, a very special thanks to our friends ‘Phre The Eon’ for the theme music. Anyone interested can find them on Facebook.
