She won the NWHL Isobel Cup last season with the Minnesota Whitecaps and now she is back at her alma mater coaching the next generation of female hockey players.

Fresh off her first victory as Proctor Hermantown head coach, former Bulldogs defenseman Emma Stauber joins us this week to share how the gig is going so far, her hopes for her first season and what led to her decision of joining the family business and becoming a hockey coach.

Stauber, who was a senior captain for former UMD coach Shannon Miller during the 2014-15 season, talks about the coaches she’s had throughout her career and how they’ve helped develop her into the type of coach she wants to become.

Hosted by News Tribune college hockey reporter Matt Wellens and My9 Sports commentator Zach Schneider, and produced by the News Tribune’s Samantha Erkkila, new episodes of Bulldog Insider are released every Thursday throughout the season.
