Dhruv arrived in Vancouver via the tech capital of India, Bangalore where he did his Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a parallel interest in Computer Science. Dhruv later on went onto graduate from the Master's in Digital Media, a joint program run by UBC, BCIT, SFU & Emily Carr in Vancouver, Canada. Currently Dhruv is performing cutting edge research in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI), Internet of Things and Digital Holography at the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University. Additionally, he performs research and implements new ways of interacting with machines that have a humanizing factor. Apart from this, Dhruv has also won several national awards in the field of computing and has showcased his technology at leading research labs such as Indian Space Research Organization and several international conferences.

In his spare, Dhruv loves to volunteer for Yoga, and additionally perform meditation, and play outdoor sports such as table tennis and soccer.
