This week's episode of The Art of Lawyering Podcast is a special one. I sit down with Omar Nur or Nur Law to discuss how to start a law firm, networking, and the right way to buy a law firm to increase the size of your law firm.

Omar Nur is a lifetime resident of Seattle and now has his own law firm, Nur Law, based in the Seattle area. He practices criminal defense, immigration law, and traffic defense. He is also one of the happiest people I know and one of the best Facebook posters I have ever met.

Like most of us, Omar started his firm the traditional way: he hung out his shingle and started hustling for clients. But, unlike most of us, he has since grown his practice by purchasing the book of business from another established law firm.
More from the show.
Here are just a couple of the things we talked about on the show:
How Omar got his first client;
How Omar started a successful law firm right out of law school;
The key things to consider when buying a law firm;
The most important element of starting a law firm;
How to network to actually get referrals;
The value of a positive outlook on life; and
So much more!
This really was a fantastic episode and I'm excited for all of the great stuff you are going to learn from Omar.
