At Spira, they are currently farming algae, with a goal to produce the basic materials and goods needed locally, to replace the many chemicals and animal compounds currently being used in our foods today.
We will discuss how and where they are farming the algae, how they are using the naturally derived colors to replace the chemically derived colors we use today, and an experiment that Elliott performed on himself using algae.
