Well, this episode got away just a bit. Ohio State beat Penn State 38-25 on Saturday in State College and somehow Doug Lesmerises, Nathan Baird and Stephen Means spent an hour and 45 minutes talking about it -- Nathan and Stephen after watching the game in the press box and Doug after watching it from his couch.
Why was there so much to discuss? Because there were so many things that OSU fans were concerned about even in victory.
There were plenty of questions about the run game, the touchdowns allowed in the second half and the secondary in general. There was praise for Buckeyes like Justin Fields, Jonathon Cooper, Tuf Borland, Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson. This was probably the most interesting game of the regular season, with overmatched opponents ahead for the Buckeyes.
So maybe nearly two hours was needed.
