Postdoctoral Research Associate at University of Washington, Peter Neff, joins #BTSPodcast and discusses climate science, how academic research reaches the every day person, and the behind-the-scenes of his studies surrounding glaciers. Peter studies ice cores, glaciology, paleoclimate, geochemistry, and the role of Antarctica in our global future. Peter is currently a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA and a member of the Δ*Isolab. He also maintains affiliation as a research associate at the University of Rochester as a member of Vas Petrenko's ice core lab.
