"Motherhood is the Fredericton, NB, Canada-based trio of Brydon Crain, Penelope Stevens, and Adam Sipkema. A (rightfully) self-proclaimed trio of “deep-thinkin’ rippers,” they share an impressively high level of musicality and intensity that comes thru on record and truly shines in a live environment. With a twisting, propulsive sort of artiness to their heavy, HEAVY rock, the band manages to produce a gnarly, twangy, fuzzy sort of new sound without ever feeling like too much. They dropped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn to blow our minds for this session.
