Today’s guest is Gayle Larson. Gayle grew up in an addicted home where she learned to not talk about her feelings and instead learned to simply pull up her bootstraps and carry on. At 12, she acquired a step-father, who was alcoholic and mentally and physically abusive, so she learned to crawl deeper inside while acting out the happy extrovert.

She started drinking at 19 and which produced 20 years of drinking through marriages and relationships. She lived a double life where she was emotionally immature and broken inside while appearing to be responsible and successful. In today’s episode, she shares her story of hope and freedom.
