Welcome to another episode of the Broken Clock Podcasts Gamescast where a certain someone has crawled their way out of Hell.

With some high profile games coming out in the next few weeks the guys are biding their time and trying to find new games to occupy them before the hotly anticipated games come rolling in. Jon got a jump on a fall release by playing the Switch demo for Dragon Quest XI Echoes of a really long title, while still chipping away at Tetris 99 looking for his first win. Joe scrolled the PS Store and came across Remnant: From the Ashes which combines aspects of Destiny and Dark Souls. Adam updates us on his time with No Man Sky Beyond, which thankfully went better the second time around. All three also talk about their experience with the Alpha for Call Of Duty's new 2v2 mode.

The Lightning Round/Not Lighting Round for this week has all the big news out of Gamescom, including new indie titles coming to Switch, new Stadia announcements, a new contender for stupidest game mechanic, some major Sony news, and a host of DLC and release data announcements.
